A couple of questions regarding Skyfall.

1. Skyfall's groundskeeper, Kincade, he doesn't speak with a Scottish accent so I presume he's not actually Scottish?

2. Is Silva a British citizen? His name and his accent indicates that he's not, but if he's not British, could he become a secret service agent under the British government?

I wish that model was already out when I was looking for a new compact. I got a Lumix instead which was quite good!

About Kincade, I didn't really think about it but I remembered wondering what a Scottish accent was like when he appeared. Yeah, wonder why he doesn't have it. :)

As for Silva, if it refers to my experience in espionage field, hehehe, or watching Spook too much, I guess someone non British can be a British agent after he/she, ex spy from another country, asked to be extradited or something.

Frodosweetstuff below said something about not every Scottish must have a Scottish accent. I supposed since he was conversing with M, who's not Scottish I presume, he didn't talk with an accent. Btw, I never knew that James Bond was originally from Scotland!

Do you follow Spook regularly? Did you manage to catch the episodes with Benedict Cumberbatch in it? I'm looking for the avi links!

My friend knows Bond is a royalty and I didn't know that. That's why he has such a suave style.

I watched Spooks since season 7 as Richard Armitage was in it till s9. What season was Cumberbatch in?

He's related to the queen or he's a lord or earl or something? I've never heard of that. Your friend read the books? I think I read only one Ian Fleming's book when I was small and I can't remember the title. What I *do* remember was that Bond was tied naked to a chair and he was tortured by being whipped on the balls. Lol, trust me to remember *that* particular bit!!

I've no idea which season. His was just a minor character and isn't even listed on his IMDB. Someone posted a link download link to it but I delayed downloading it since he had only a small part in it, so now when I want to dl it, of course it's no longer available! It's on youtube though, so I guess I'll just have to make do with that.

Well, I can ask my friend more about it or I'll find out.

So the Spooks ep is not listed, I see. I don't remember seeing him in the seasons I watched.

Skyfall is the only Bond movie that I remember in detail, or want to watch more than once. The previous Bond movies, and the ones before him, I can hardly remember what they were all about! Except the one with Michelle Yeoh, for obvious reasons!

Someone once told me that Nikon is excellent in the DLSR group of camera but not so much in the compact range, so you keep *that* in mind ok? But yeah, it'd be awesome to have J2 upfront on your camera!!

Regarding the question of a Scottish accent - I have a Scottish friend who grew up with Gaelic as his mother tongue and only learned English later. You would never ever place him in Scotland when he speaks English. He sounds Sarf London through and through. :D

I love it. I think it's the best of the three Craig!Bond movies. I'm thinking Daniel Craig is an acquired taste, or something like that. I've seen it twice!

Aahhh, so I guess being Scottish doesn't mean that you have to have a Scottish accent. Heheh, Pip still sound Scottish though!

We have different accents/dialects in the different states in our country but I don't speak my home-state accent with just anybody so I guess it's the same with Kincade.

Hmmm, I guess I really need to see it. I don't like Daniel Craig, so that's quite a deterrent. :S

Well, that's not true either!! :PPP I think, generally speaking, people in Scotland are more likely to speak with an accent than people elsewhere in the UK. Sorry for the confusion! :DDD
