LOTR limited edition
Sep. 12th, 2006 10:13 amGot my Limited Edition LOTR which was a pleasant surprise because I didn't expect to receive them for another week at least. Managed to sneak them onto the DVD shelves without the husband noticing. Not that I don't want him to know about them of course but I've already got 3 sets of the LOTR movies - the VCDs, the DVDs, the Extended Edition DVDs - I swear that his lips thinned out a little bit more each time I came back with a new set. I hope that he won't notice that these are new but if he asks I'll just give the standard answer of "But I bought these a long time ago!"
I remember an article written by a local Tolkien fan - apparently she has 2 sets of the LOTR books. One set, still in pristine condition, is for display on her bookshelves while the other set is for everyday read, well-thumbed and dog-eared, she brings those with her everywhere she goes. I wonder very much if she has eight sets of the vcds and dvds ...
