Jennifer Hudson totally blew me away with her performance in Dreamgirls. When she won all those awards, and not Cate Blanchett, I was like, what the -- But then I saw the movie, oh boy, she was simply awesome. Her vocals and her acting are superb. I would so watch that movie again and I'm not even into musicals. And Beyonce, she was beyond beautiful. The only thing that I didn't like about the movie was Eddie Murphy. Yikes.

Can't say the same thing about 'The Departed'. Not even my beloved Matt Damon could save that movie for me. To me it was just, I don't know ... dry? 'Babel'should have won the award for Best Film, and not 'The Departed' IMO. I'm itching to get my hands on the original Hong Kong version, they say that it's a lot better than the remake.

I havent' seen Dreamgirls, but I intend to see it as soon as I can. And I couldn't agree more about the best picture Oscar. Babel was a lot better movie, and gave me characters I could understand and care about. I found myself unable to become invested in a single character in The Departed. I didn't care what happened to them.

I was never into musicals before. I didn't watch Moulin Rouge or Chicago or Evita. I've always thought it funny the way people are singing at the drop of a hat in that type of films. But Dreamgirls is really wonderful.

I was very disappointed with Matt. God, I can't wait to see the next Bourne movie!!

But Jennifer Hudson is goooooood. Yes, she deserved all the awards that she got. Watch it! They have very nice songs there, too.

No particular reason, it's just that he ( and Tom Cruise ) didn't do anything for me.

Heehee, I was thinking that my breath would take that towel away, it's so tiny! I LOVE last night's episode!

Yes, it's a musical and it's absolutely fantastic. The songs are lovely. Highly reccomended!
