Among the many pics that have been surfacing from this site lately, this one simply takes the cake. Because, seriously?

That's exactly how I stand holding on to hubby when I was pregnant. Hee!



But jokes aside, I absolutely adore that pic, because there was so much Love there. I don't know whether they were still in character or not, I don't really remember Dean holding on to Sam that way in that particular episode, but be it them as themselves, or as Sam and Dean, the way Jensen was holding on to Jared's arm, it was like he was pulling Jared towards him, and that stance? It totally says "I'm his."

Do guys really do hold on to other guys like that, I wonder? I can't imagine my husband doing that to his best friend!

And hey, esorlehcar has written an almost-story inspired by that pic here, and it's from the fabulous Down To The End verse.

Man this site is just a treasure trove isn't it? And this is up there with the Rock Scissors and Paper scene from the S2 gag reel. It just an unconscious touch between two people who are comfortable, intimate with touch - look at Jared - he is completely at ease with such close proximity to Jensen - almost unaware of it. And it FILLS ME WITH GLEE!

Btw, I have these three brothers in my class (and they're so noisy omg!) But this afternoon, the oldest suddenly rubbed his brother's (the middle) back (I don't think there's a real reason here) and he found out that the brother's t-shirt was wet (it was raining outside). I found the way he said, "Oh, why is it wet?" while looking closely at his brother was really touching and immediately reminded me of how Dean cared so much for Sam. *sighs*

This is a great picture. I have not been into this show at all (aren't they brothers on it?). I normally don't care for Jensen's looks...but the pictures you pick..the one on your LJ and this one make me look twice. I never realized how much bigger Jared is (he is freakin gorgeous). I get a different angle of them from your pics...makes me curious.

Jared's 6'4", and yeah, he's ginormous, and of course gorgeous! But not more than Jensen. And yeah, they're brothers but hee, thoughts of brothers blew out of the window because these two are just so hot and so very slashable when they're together, whether in RL or as the brothers they play on TV.

The show itself, I have to admit, is mediocre, but the backstory, and yes, the two brothers, as played by Jared and Jensen, make them stand out for me, from all the other shows.

Here's a tongue-in-cheek rundown of the story.

So, basically, their mum died when Dean was 4 years old and Sam 6 months. She was killed by a demon, and their father was set on revenge after that, hunting down malignant spirits and demons and ghouls. He basically became a ghosthunter, and he dragged his small kids along. Sam and Dean grew up in this strange environment, of travelling from place to place without a mum and a father who's hardly there. So Dean was left to take care of his young brother most of the time. And while Dean was the good son, obeying his father's orders at all times, Sam was the rebellious one. Sam loved his brother but was always fighting with his dad, that at one point he left the family, against his father's wishes, to go to college. Dean stayed on with his father, with a broken heart, because he gave his all for Sam, and yet Sam still left him. Then one day, their father disappeared while on a hunting trip, and Dean came to get Sam to go find their father, and that was when the story proper started.

Sorry for rambling heheh, but I think you do need to get the backstory to really get into it. That was how I was hooked into Supernatural - there's so much Dean-angst in it, so much brother love ( that's where the Wincest comes in, some are squicked by it, some embraced it like whoa ) and they really are great together, their chemistry is awesome! Btw, Dean is the older brother, played by Jensen, and Sam is played by Jared.
