Really, *Jen-sen*!
Mar. 27th, 2008 05:30 pmAmong the many pics that have been surfacing from this site lately, this one simply takes the cake. Because, seriously?
That's exactly how I stand holding on to hubby when I was pregnant. Hee!

But jokes aside, I absolutely adore that pic, because there was so much Love there. I don't know whether they were still in character or not, I don't really remember Dean holding on to Sam that way in that particular episode, but be it them as themselves, or as Sam and Dean, the way Jensen was holding on to Jared's arm, it was like he was pulling Jared towards him, and that stance? It totally says "I'm his."
Do guys really do hold on to other guys like that, I wonder? I can't imagine my husband doing that to his best friend!
And hey,
esorlehcar has written an almost-story inspired by that pic here, and it's from the fabulous Down To The End verse.
Anyone care to caption that pic? Mine would be "Yup, we're together alright!"

:D

It was only later, much later, that it occurred to him to wonder that he’d never noticed just how much and how purely that his brother wanted a child.
And here's from the angsty 'Off Center' verse by
Sam wondered for a moment what Dean would look like pregnant, stomach rounded and swollen, moving with the languid grace he remembered Jess’s older sister having the one time he’d met her right before her son was born.
“Dean’s pregnant,” Sam said and suddenly it became very, very real.
For a long moment silence crackled between them on the line. Sam’s eyes drifted aimlessly across the wispy clouds, nearly the same shade as the bone colored sky. He couldn’t see any shapes in them; he couldn’t divine any answers.
“Are you certain?” Ellen asked finally, voice carefully modulated.
“Yes.” Sam thought about the little stick jammed in his pocket and knew Dean would never have even considered entertaining the idea if he’s hadn’t been certain way deep down.
“Jesus Christ.”
“Yeah.”
Ellen hesitated again. “Do you know who the…father is?”
Me.
Sam suddenly felt like he was going to break apart into a hundred thousand pieces. It wasn’t just Dean’s, the little cluster of cells that had the potential to become a human life. Dean hadn’t created that all on his own. It was Sam’s too; he’d been there when it came into being. Half Dean and half Sam and Sam felt he was going to drown in the enormity of that realization.
And from
Dean's a fighter. Everyone’s always said it. It’s why they picked him.
For the first three months, Dean is all denial. He rolls his eyes at Sam’s concern, slaps his hands away when Sam tries to reach out to him. Refuses to acknowledge that something has stolen his body and is taking him over from the inside.
Dean doesn’t drive again. It’s not like he’s well enough to drive anyway. The baby starts kicking more often. Dean doesn’t tell him but Sam notices the way he flinches sometimes, catches the sudden look of pain and unease in his eyes. As Dean gets bigger, more swollen, he and Sam settle in at Bobby’s. It’s not like Dean can do much. He dry-retches in the morning and evening, suffers from nausea that produces nothing in between
