Yeah, I know, that movie is like, 10 yrs old or something? And yet I've never seen it. But I know it's a great movie, just that I never got the chance to watch it until last night.
Oh boy. I think I fell in love with Hugh Grant all over again. I've always like that guy, not to the extent of lusting over him or anything, but yes, I like him. I love all of his movies - Love Actually ( omg the Prime Minister danced at No. 10! ), Notting Hill ( not a big fan of Julia Roberts but I liked her in that movie, because of Grant ), About a Boy, Mickey Blue Eyes ( I laughed so hard when he was trying to talk like a Mafia, and that small plastic container to put that dead body in LOL ) Bridget Jones!!! ...
I think it's great that even though most of his characters were somewhat similar ( bumbling, cute, mostly a loser ), he somehow managed to make them different, that you'd remember each character differently, if you know what I mean.
And hee, ever since I read
deleerium's Glitter, I could never look at Grant without thinking of his character in that fic. One of the best threesomes ever. And I'm not even into threesomes!
Anyway, back to 'Four Weddings'. I really love that movie. I thought Andie McDowell was exquisite in it. And the funnies are really hilarious. Rowan Atkinson performing one of the weddings, the younger brother, the friends OMG.
Heh, nothing like British humour to make your day *chuckles*
